Open all day, starting with breakfast special which is served up until 11am.

For ease of parking, use car park under the Town Hall, then walk down towards the sea, along the pedestrianised streets, turn left or right at the sea front, walk a little way and you will find the impressive building on the promenade.   Use entrance door on the right hand side of the building, to the bar.

Simply presented white washed building with blue shutters & awnings to the front terrace,  historically one of the oldest “hosteleries” in the town.  Proudly positioned on the sea promenade it originally featured thermal baths and was a well visited place for rest, relaxation and spa treatments from the late 1800’s.   Do not walk past this building without entering into another world!   During the summer La Encarnación hosts evening entertainment from traditional dancing and music to jazz events.

The inside is another experience, a jewel offering a traditional bar and beautiful restaurant, home to many of its treasures from the past, including various photographs, pictures and antiquities from the 1800’s.   The dining room boasts grand wheel backed wicker chairs and the highest quality fine cuisine.  Step back in time and enjoy the experience.

The bar leads to a doorway opening into a wonderful open courtyard with “hot house” shrubs & a marvellous display of geraniums (late spring early summer time).  The bubbling fountain completes this relaxing and peaceful haven (bar the birdsong).  Enjoy a drink and taste some of the great tapas on offer.

Menu Price: Medium to Expensive
