Fabulously located in the hamlet of Gebas amongst the Sierra Espuña, this family run hotel provides the warmest hospitality possible. Mark & Sam offer activities including guided quad bike tours, mountain bike hire (with trail maps provided), kayaking & swimming in the “blue lagoon” reservoir. For those non-adrenalin junkies, the hotel operates guided walks every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month with a 4 course lunch included in the price. Walks are generally 3hrs duration and require a little fitness along with lots of enthusiasm.

Attention to safety & security is high on their list of priorities with the quad riders. Beginners & experienced riders are welcome, as are all ages – restrictions apply to any tours that involve road usage as full driving licenses are required. Crash helmets and protective gloves are provided.

While Mark is touring the countryside on the quad bikes, Sam is busy “in house” preparing simple but hearty dishes for the hungry riders, along with other tourists and locals that happen to stop by for an excellent “menu del dia” at unbeatable value.

The hotel holds special music nights on the traditionally Spanish style terrace. Offers for overnight stays, meals, etc are available. It is also the ideal venue for a special celebration, nothing is too much trouble for the family to arrange, such as live music, hog roasts or BBQ´s with discounted overnight hotel rates for party guests.

La Manga Gokart, Playa Honda, nr La Manga

Directions to La Manga GoKart: The journey should take approximately 25 minutes from Roda Golf. Travel towards Cartagena on the AP-7. After approx. 8km you will need to take the exit 800 off signposted MU-312 / La Manga. Once on the MU-312, take exit for Playa Honda, cross bridge over motorway (left) and turn left at junction, follow this service road until you reach the Gokarting tracks.

With over 30 years go karting experience this is one of the best places for go karting in the surrounding area. Three tracks have been designed and built for different age groups for optimum safety – adults, junior and infants, the whole family can join the exhilaration and speed with maximum safety.

Children are able to put themselves through the paces, with a specially designed track – they can join the racing aspiration in a safe environment whilst 11 to 15 year olds can make use of a more technical track with tighter bends. La Manga GoKart is an excellent place for family fun, with friendly competitiveness amongst each other without the serious risk.

All go karts are maintained to the best condition, with safety equipment provided. La Manga GoKart are dedicated to racing, featuring eight different models available to hire to suit your requirements. Many karting championships have been held here, regional and national. Two championships of Spain and the Repsol racing championship. They are a member of AEPKA (association of Spanish go karting tracks) and are governed by the strictest regulations & safety standards.

There is an italian restaurant on site offering a varied menu of spanish and european dishes. There are also various bar activities (table football, billiards, etc).

Golf Delux – Adventure Golf

Enjoy a game of putting at Golf Delux who boast the largest artificial grass adventure golf course in continental Europe. They have a series of 18 holes which test even the best of putters. Plot your way around the course which has many natural stone obstacles, bunkers & several water hazards! If you need a break after 9 holes, the “19th hole” hosts friendly and helpful staff serving hot & cold drinks, tapas and hot food. When fully refreshed, continue the “back nine”. Enjoyment for all the family from the youngest to the oldest!

Groups are welcome and there are discounts available for groups of 20 or more players. Certainly a different slant to the usual golfing holiday and well worth a visit!

Putters and balls are included in the fees.

For the more regular visitors Golf Delux will be holding weekly tournaments open to all.

Also available, a 12 hole mini golf course, lawn bowling and golf curling.
